Pete’s New Blog

Well, what a day. My new blog. I’m sure all corners of the internet will resound with the posting of my first blog post! If you are reading this on FB, the FB page will be changing from my music page to just simply mirror my new blog.

Let me explain…

I have done a lot of things in my life, like many people. I had always wanted a way to get it out and have a record of my life, use writing to process things, remember things, etc. But for some reason a regular old blog has never felt like the right medium. I’ve tried journaling, I’ve tried making sites for specific topics, like my music, none of it has worked. So I’m going to try a blog.

Here is what you’ll get here on the Pete Blog if you decide to actually follow me:

  1. Random posts about my favorite recipes or my favorite tiger cub
  2. Announcements of new music for Royal Vagabond
  3. Me using writing to process things that have happened in my life – however, this being public, there will be certain limitations I will place on myself.
  4. Progress on my novel (yes, I started writing a novel)
  5. Updates about the farm
  6. Hopefully some laughter
  7. Book reports – ok, kidding. Or… maybe not?
  8. Stuff about music
  9. Stuff about fishing
  10. Stuff about coding
  11. Stuff about technology
  12. Stuff about F1 (I have loved Formula 1 for 25 years, super excited it is on Apple TV now)
  13. Stuff about faith

…and probably other things too.

If you know me personally, you know that I am often extremely grateful simply to be here on this earth another day. With that, what you will NOT get:

  1. My political opinions
  2. Memes
  3. Mean stuff
  4. Angry stuff
  5. Swearing

Well, there it is. Welcome to the Pete Blog, I’m glad you’re here.

Pete

Music Page is Live

Today I built a little page about my music. For those who know, I have been creating and publishing music as Royal Vagabond. On my music page you will find links to Spotify and Apple Music and a list of my releases.

Pretty excited to report that my first track from Don’t Look Back, “Up From the Bottom,” is up over 13k streams on Spotify now. I think that’s like $13 lol.
